This policy describes how Caller ID Lookup (https://calleridlookup.com/) handles information when you use the phone lookup site or contact us at info@calleridlookup.com.
This is a starter privacy policy. Have a lawyer review it before you rely on it.
If you run a lookup, you submit a phone number. If you use the contact form, you submit your name, email address, and message, and a phone number only if you choose to include one.
The site may log technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of a request. We use this to operate the site, prevent abuse, and limit repeated lookups.
When you submit a phone number, our server sends that number to Veriphone, a phone-data provider, to request carrier, line type, and location information. We do not use the lookup to retrieve a private person’s name.
Do not submit a phone number if you do not want it sent to that provider for this purpose.
We use contact details to reply to you. We use lookup requests and technical logs to provide the service, protect the site, and understand overall usage. We do not sell your personal information.
Contact messages are kept long enough to respond and to keep a record of the conversation. Lookup requests and security logs are kept only as long as needed to operate and protect the service, then deleted or de-identified.
The site may use cookies that WordPress, Elementor, or Contact Form 7 set in order to run the pages and the form. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking them may affect the contact form.
You may ask us what contact information we have stored from your messages, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@calleridlookup.com. We may need to keep a record if the law requires it or to resolve a dispute.
The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page. The effective date will change when we do.
